The Brief
CitiesWithNature is a unique initiative that recognises and enhances the value of nature in and around cities across the world. But they had no owned space to talk about it, let alone track the progress of this ambitious, global project.
The initiative needed an engaging, accessible and intuitive platform where cities from every corner of the planet could find out more, get involved and actively take part in turning their city into one focused on and around nature.
City profiles are created on the platform with personalised interests and ultimately goals to be achieved via the Action Platform. Trackable and guided, these take the shape of Pathways to Urban Ecosystem Restoration.
Entirely focused on a community approach to the ultimate goal of more cities with nature at their core, the platform offers overarching challenge-like activities and achievements that can be seen by the community - effectively gamifying the process of making our cities greener.
