Collaborating on a custom online shop with the goal of making plant-based food packaging the norm by 2030.

The Brief

Established in 2007, GREEN HOME is South Africa’s first and longest-running completely compostable food packaging company - they call it ‘big picture packaging’ and they want it to go global. What they needed was an eCommerce portal that matched their passion with the functionality, UX and UI that modern user-consumers come to expect - especially when they are making a change from their current way of life.

They needed not only a shop, but a website showcasing what they were all about so that people would buy in, then buy on repeat.

We designed, developed and created a fully-custom online shop for Green Home and its products from the ground up.

Along with the overall UX and UI designs, we played a huge role in creating and defining the brand in the digital space, with collateral design as well as brand guide definitions.

We created a product that not only sold products, but also allowed (and encouraged) talkability through clear messaging and a simple user experience.
